Data Centers: The state legislature has created a welcoming place for business. It has become a less welcoming place for its citizens. The influx of data centers in Ohio these last ten years has contributed to higher electric bills. Where local governments are giving 75% tax abatements and signing non-disclosure agreements, the state needs to step in.
There is a time and a place for tax incentives. Trillion dollar companies can pay their own way.
